International entertainment industry management and technical support
company’s JSA and its business in Latvia. JSA Europe creative
engineering team has developed a project entitled "The world's highest
Christmas tree in Riga 2010".
The world's up to now highest
Christmas tree will be created as a multifunctional light installation
object in the most appropriate place in the urban heart of Riga -
Esplanade, where it will become a bright accent in the city’s Christmas
presentation, organically fit into the architectural environment, adding
a visual image of the city.
This project will provide an
opportunity to emphasize the unique fact that this year passes 500 years
since
in the world directly in Riga the first Christmas tree was decorated.
It will be the opportunity to Riga
to become not only the oldest but
also the world's top Christmas trees city and implement a wide-scale
international advertising campaign which will enable a unique
opportunity to advertise the name of Riga in the world, attracting
thousands of tourists and millions of viewers’ attention with the media
intercession, thus increasing both city and the income from tourism
popularity, and ensuring a rapid increase in the number of tourists.
The
form of Christmas tree will be shaped by frame construction, on which
will be strengthened the spotlights and light-based installations, which
together will form an attractive and brightly illuminated image of the
holiday tree. The authors have envisaged the possibility to complement
this multifunctional object, making it as a multi-stage project.
Attracting
financial supporters and partners, it is possible to enrich the visual
image of the Christmas tree with the video projection and other
cutting-edge technologies, to organize cultural projects, entertainment
events, exhibitions and charity events.
The sustainability of the
project could be promoted by the creation and execution of marketing
materials and souvenir production, which would be a priceless
opportunity to promote the sponsor company or product, as well as Riga's
name in the world.
The implementation of the project gives an
opportunity to Riga to make an unprecedented advertising campaign
because media’s interest will be pegged already at that time, when the
information of the preparatory proceedings will come out at the public
space, it will follow with the great interest to the project development
and will have repercussions long after the project is completed.
